Bathing in Glory
The Goliath to the rest of the teams’ David, Team Bath are most definitely the team to beat this season. Think about this record: Team Bath have won the Superleague title for the last two seasons and as at the start of the 2007-2008 season currently in the middle of a 24 match unbeaten run; they have lost only one match in the history of the competition (to Loughborough Lightning) and won the other 31. For the other teams a match against Team Bath is one that they are expected to lose. For sure, though, there will be a fair few teams who consider that their time is long overdue.
Squad
The Bath squad contains a number of well-known names from the ladies’ England international squad. Even those not possessing international caps are have a wealth of experience and skill. We have no doubt that any member of this team would be welcomed with open arms into any other Superleague squad.

Summary
While we think there might be a few shocks for Team Bath this year (and we certainly don’t think they can keep up their unbeaten record for much longer), there are some huge names, some fantastic players and undeniable quality in this side. The sensible money has to be on Team Bath for the Superleague title.
